Our weekend of praying has already begun, only because preparation is a key part of the event. His call each day to you and I is ‘come aside and be with Me’   Each and every day we will find special moments when the Lord  reveals Himself to us. Times when both quietly and out aloud we will respond to Him. With others and alone! Our family is a key place to start as we encourage participation on all levels from the youngest through to the eldest. Throughout each day we can lift our voices to the Lord in response to His prompting. So much can happen during this time of preparation. Here are some encouraging examples of others praying that I have been reading lately. Nehemiah 1“When I heard these things I sat down and wept…..” John 17“Father, the time has come…” Ephesians 1:17-19  – “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ…” Ephesians 3:17-19  –  “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love…” Philippians 1:9-11 –  “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound…” Colossians 1:9-12  –  “…since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped asking God…” Lord,  thank you for your grace, your care, your goodness and your power to change lives. Please draw my heart continually towards yourself that I might know you more deeply and share your life more fully. I love you Jesus.

A Call to prayer Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.
